New Zealand's pristine, spectacular cruising waters meet the region's best marine service centre in the heart of Auckland City - The Viaduct. At Nautical Contracting we provide refit services to super yachts around the globe. With specialist expertise in teak decks, we handle all forms of wood work and custom joinery, refitting and customizing interiors and exteriors and replacing worn fittings.
Our home port is the Auckland Viaduct. In addition, high quality overflow facilities are available North of Auckland in Whangarei Harbour and to the South East in the Bay of Plenty. Regardless, our operating system is unchanged. We often measure and quote in one port, then install in another, fitting in with a vessel's cruising schedule and minimizing down time.
We use Proliner digital technology to provide exact measures and go straight to CAD drawings. Where haul out is not required, we use the innovative shrink wrapping system to provide an air-conditioned waterproof membrane fully enclosing the vessel. This system means work really can take place anywhere, any time.
Our highly experienced teams of NZ qualified boat builders work with some of the world's premier super yacht owners and boat builders. Collectively, we have experience in all forms of boat building including steel, aluminium, fibreglass and wooden construction and understand the importance of isolating different materials to avoid corrosion.
We draw from a large pool of nautical labour resources, comprised of qualified, reputable boat builders and associated trade contractors. This allows us to ramp up or down to meet our customers' tight stopover timetables. Of course, the more notice you can give us the better!
